CAN TOUCH THIS
“Can touch this […] is entertaining because it makes fun of the social, cultural and familial rules of touch with great ease.” Berliner Zeitung
Touch is provocation. Touch is beautiful. Touch is out of place. Touch is essential for survival. Cultures and traditions determine whether touching is pleasant or embarrassing. Or are we the ones who determine that? We want to be seen, we want to be loved, we want to be wanted. But please don't touch it! Five actors explore the dilemma of modern people: We long for touch and yet want to be protected from injury. The dancers allow closeness and lose control. They test their own and other people's limits, stumble over mistakes and embarrassments and in the end gently pick up the audience again.

"The ambivalence between the longing for contact and the fear of injury runs through Leonardo Kees' production. The performers are not satisfied with the statement that people feel differently, but rather demonstrate virtuoso that difference is fundamentally part of the essence of touch. “ Kölnische Rundschau
