HNSL/GRTL is an absurd “coming of age” scenario in which the repertoire of non-partnership gestures between two people is illuminated. In a parallel universe to the well-known fairy tale about two siblings who get lost in the forest, whose survival depends on the development of collective tactics, two dancers explore the repertoire of sibling gestures - from the repetition of familiar routines to a utopian departure.

Einstein calls it “spooky action at a distance”: two particles can interact with each other even if there is a large distance between them. This effect seems to be confirmed again and again in everyday life: when two people think the same thing without consultation, call each other at the same moment or meet by chance after their name was mentioned just before. In these moments, an almost sibling connection can be felt - there is obviously a physical connection that we do not have rational access to.

Two versions of a single cell must break out of their familiar patterns to find new strategies for old problems. The future is clear: fragmented dances and the same facial expressions over and over again. Tick. Tack. Ticket bag.
